it's "white" (very "white" in Toronto standard). The only I'm not sure is the quality of public schools, but if you've got the money, send your kids to private schools or Catholic schools. Many of the "high-quality" public schools in Toronto may not be very helpful for the English language (kids can easily communicate in Chinese if so wished, and there're all kinds of accents when kids speak). On the other hand, public schools have better facilities and equipments. (That's right, and a surprise to many, it's a country closer to socialistic Europe rathter than Capitalistic US and Japan).

But a small and white town has the inconvenience of less accessible to Chinese food, or may some new friends. It has a little more cultural shock than Toronto (which in my opinion has NONE, People come to Toronto thinking they're abroad, but it's not abroad, it's just another Chinese city for many.

Newmarket is another good choice, another home of many high-income local people.

      It is good to invest real easte there now, I think. The price is still low compare to Toronto, but the population is going up.
