There have been some changes at the City of Toronto immunization clinics and adults 18 years or older who have appointments at our clinics will receive the Moderna (mRNA) vaccine. Youth 12 to 17 years of age will still receive the Pfizer vaccine as it’s the only vaccine currently approved for that age group.

We understand this news may be unexpected, but we encourage you to keep your vaccine appointment as mixing COVID-19 mRNA vaccines is an approved practice in Canada. Also, the Ontario government has not yet confirmed when more Pfizer will be available in Toronto.

Getting your second dose as soon as possible is your best defense against the aggressive Delta variant.

Mixing vaccines has been done safely and effectively for decades to complete multi-dose vaccinations for influenza (flu), hepatitis A, and many others. Both Pfizer and Moderna brands are mRNA vaccines and are extremely effective against COVID-19 transmission.

由于第一针当晚就发烧头痛，无法入睡，连着三天都是头昏脑胀，第四天恢复正常。
第二针当晚啥反应都没有，一觉睡到早上，然后很开心的认为就这样了。可是到上午11点开始发冷，是胳膊都起鸡皮疙瘩的冷。然后头痛，整个胳膊疼连着淋巴结疼，背痛，12点开始发热不是发烧的体温。整个人立刻蔫了，就跟公司请病假。
一下午就是来回发冷发热折腾，坚持到5点吃了一片泰诺，是头痛欲裂。到了晚上10点，突然所有症状都没了。
所以，对于我来说，第二针是来的凶，去的快。第一针更难受些。
希望大家都平安度过第二针👌🤝
