"Fully Vaccinated" Against COVID-19 Doesn't Last Very Long Using Pfizer's mRNA Injection, Study Finds 💉@COVID19Up: People vaccinated with two shots of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in January and February had a 51% increased chance of contracting SARS-CoV-2 in July compared to those who were vaccinated in March or April, a new Israeli study published in Nature Communications has found. The risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection was found to be significantly higher for people the earlier they were vaccinated, with an additional trend for high risk of hospitalization. The results are consistent with other studies on COVID-19 vaccines that show a decline in antibody levels and immune system compounds after four to six months. Moreover, people’s ages had no effect on the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine waning, meaning that protection from the mRNA injection waned for everyone and not just older people.
