Most answers are not true.

EHR (Electronic Health Record) is highly regulated by PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act), essentially the Ontario’s health privacy law. While PHIPA allows EHR to be shared amongst the health care practitioners, consents from the patients are absolutely required. OHIP and associated PHI (Personal Health Information) are kept by a custodian, Ministry of Health (MOH). PHI must be removed, i.e., deidentified, before it can be released for research purpose, provided the patient consent are in place. Physicians must obtain explicit patient consent before the digital health assets can be securely transferred, therefore your family health care team won't automatically have your clinic visit results unless otherwise under your instruction.

        • 写病历本的, 通常是老一辈的医生. at the end of the day, 前枱要做manual billing one by one.
          • Up
    • I am afraid nobody will provide a thorough answer since it may reveal where they are employed +1
        • Life lab
    • Most answers are not true. +1

        • In Ontario that's correct, there are a few exceptions though. Emergency where consent can not be practically obtained; Symptoms considered as a potential threat to public health; Court orders.
