cash ETF don't have capital gains, they pay dividends, which are taxed at a regular income tax rate. No different from savings account interest.
Horizon's cash.to has MER 0.11% Hence you take their published yield 4.94% (dividend rate), substract 0.11% MER = 4.83% is their current "interest rate" (minus trading fees which are zero if using Wealthsimple or NBDB)
Which is not bad considering you save the hustle of moving money around every few month IF they keep their yield/"interest" competitive
They had ~2%-4% throughout 2022
