本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛in jan.04, i just made a call to cic tell them i would leave canada for six months, they said no problem and if i couldn't come back on time, just gave them a fasimile.
because i could't catch the flight to back to canada and forgot to send a fasimile to inform my situation, i miss the fist test.
in sep. i came back and wait for 3 months i was told i need to be patient and wait until i would get the chance for rewrite the test. i wouldn't wait anymore , and call the cic i want to leave canada and back to china for more than four week and did not decide when i would come.
they told me, at the present, they have no longer authority to allow people to leave canada more than four weeks after they submit their application. i must directly contact the cic office which is charge of my case processing. i was required to send a fasimile or write a letter to the office to get their agreement. the cic representitive said, wether they allow you to leave canada are under their discretion case by case.
i sent the fasimile, but didn't get any feedback.
i know immigration regulations stipulate that permenant resident have rights to enter and leave canada freely. but why do i need to get their approval how long i am allowed to leave canada after i applied for the citizenship?
in january, i just make a call and it's easy and simple; however, in december, i can not end up with the same result. anyone has the similar experience? and tell me how to do. even i didn't get their approval or feedback fr cic office, i have to go. my flight is on christmas. i will deal with the canada embassy in china.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
