There are tons of fishing paradises in Ontario - 1/3 fresh water fish in the world is in Ontario as I heard. After more than 1 month searching/exploring (keep my eye open to information, signs), I've discovered my paradise of fishing - a private pond 100km northwest of Toronto open to public (I'm lucky).
Everything was co-opetative - My god (the weather), My LD, my son and fishes. At begining, I had no confidence that I could catch enough fishes for my dinner. However, when my LD saw several trouts swimming by, I knew that I would not be disappointed today.
The pond is not big and the water seemed clear and clean. "It's biting, I'm getting one" I was excited and told my LD and my son. Sometime, I could see fish biting my bite, not only felt. "Uh, I missed it" several times fish found its way to escape from my hook. Just in 2.5 hours, I got 7 rainbow trouts weighed total 4 lbs.
Some guys were fly fishing there as well.
