Here is my definition of HDTV ready PC

wide screen monitor can support native 1080i display resultion, many 24 '' LCD monitors are capaple of 1920 by 1200, but it is too expensive for me, I only got a 20'' one, at least can support 720p very well, most HD TV in the market only can support 720p, and transfer 1080i to 720p, any CPU better than P4 2.4 is good enough for decoding the HD signal, and a not too bad video card is also important, at least ati 9200 or above, the last one, a HDTV tuner is needed, there are many choices, ATI HDTV tuner is very famous, but I only plan to get a cheap one on Ebay.

I built a HDTV ready pc recently, I am planning to put another HDTV
tuner card to receiving free on air HDTV channels, does anyone already built such PC? how about the free on air HDTV quality in GTA?

I bought a LCD TV three weeks ago, just got the free on the air HDTV today. I bought a HDTV tuner at ebay, but got some problem which took me some time to solve. I bought a indoor antenna at ebay. -holdon(again); 2006-9-2 {447} (#3184880@0)
Now I can get the following channels:

2-1,2-2,4-1,4-3,7-1,7-2,9-1,25-1, and some analog channels, channel 22 and channel 49 is good. My antenna is pointed to south->east. A guy told me most singnal come from south ( Buffalo ) and south west ( CN tower). My problem is I am living in a comdo ( so I can't have outdoor antenna) and my unit is facing east. Alough many people said you must use outdoor antenna, I feel ok with my indoor antenna.

天线是walmart 20多元的 PHILIPS MNT 310F, 用这个天线的原因是３年前读书时买的，能用就可以了，我一共可以查到7,8个台，如：CITYTV, CBC, CTV, SUNTV, ２个美国台，效果很好。
