But if you really love win2k and don't mind trouble, try my hints one by one. I wish you are only one try away.
1. Are you using win2k sp2 on you PC? (better to have, but not mandatory)
2. Is there any hardware older than 1999 connected? If yes, temp remove.
Not sure? check win2k HCL on microsoft website.
3. In your bios, load default bios settings
4. In your bios, disable anti-virus protection
5. In your bios, power mgnt, disable ACPI, just use APM even _nothing_.
6. Upon booting setup CD, when you see "press F6 to ...", dont press F6,
press "F5", then select "standard PC". Then, let it loads as normal.
