Do you have dynamic secure ID to be entered before you log on company's domain?
Nevertheless, you should be able to access your company's intranet if you can access the internal website. I assume you can establish VPN connection and pass authentication correctly because you said that you could access internal website.
Here is my two cents:
1, make sure Your home PC does not have the second NIC which have been configured on the same private network segment as your company uses. i.e. 192.168..... or 10.1.....
2, try to use ip to access your company server in case something wrong about the DNS or WINS.
3, ask your company's network admin to make sure there is no firewall between the VPN server and the box you want to access.
4. make sure you don't have other software such as wingate, proxy+ active on your home PC when you make VPN connection.
Anyway, it's up to what you will do after VPN established. It will help if you specify the problem and environment more detail.
