I am also working at SG. I have landed on March and applied my SIN already. I am currently querrying about the tax.

quota from the web site:
"If you also establish residential ties in a country with which Canada has a tax treaty and you're considered to be a resident of that country for the purposes of that tax treaty, you may be considered a deemed non-resident of Canada for tax purposes."

Singapore has a tax treaty with Canada, so we may be a deemed non-resident of Canada for tax purposes. I just sent a letter to the International Tax Services Office for furter clearification.

When are you going to land? I may be able to get some answers from the office.

    • SIN卡=Social Insurance Number.
