We would like the opportunity to explain that the 2015 Sienna FWD 7-PASS AND XLE- AWD 7-PASS was designed and manufactured with 1,000 lbs. ( 454 kg) towing capacity. This was based on information we had gathered from closely studying market trends. The information we gathered allows us to get a better idea of what vehicles and options are in demand. Then based on our findings, our Product Planning department is able to choose those vehicles and options that best suit the needs of the buying public.

We recognize, of course, that these choices may not meet the needs and fulfill the desires of all potential customers. However, we have noted your comments regarding the towing capacity on the Sienna and have forwarded them to our Product Planning department for their information and future consideration.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us, your interest in Toyota is appreciate.
