you are misleading, the problem was not the printer but the windows xp and you made up a wrong decision to force them to get married!

Lexmark is supposed to provide an upgraded driver if the printer is stil being sold. In fact, they have provided drivers to other printers but not for this one.

well, everying keeps changing, just don't expect everything works by default, by the way, a cheaper printer does not mean cost you less,,,
