Reporting to the CFO, the candidate will apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. The candidate will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts and documenting business transactions as well as analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position. This position also audits contracts, orders and vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess minimum Level 4 CGA or equivalent and be actively pursuing an accounting designation along with a minimum 2 years financial accounting experience. Computer experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) or similar integrated accounting package and Microsoft FRx Report Designer is also required.
The ideal candidate will possess strong time management, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, be adaptable and flexible with priorities, self motivated and have a strong customer service orientation and possess a positive attitude along with a professional and accommodating manner.
