The General Accountant role requires someone who can pick up quickly, and requires little supervision. You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. You will be processing invoices, payables, and weekly cheques. You will also be experienced in supporting the month end process. As the General Accountant you will reconcile for sales orders, expense accounts and bank accounts. You will be assisting in the audit process and some administrative duties as well.
As the go to person on the accounting team, you will have great organisational and time management skills. You are a reliable team player who can work independently and requires little supervision. You will have strong SAP skills having at least 3 years of recent experience. The incumbent will preferably have experience with government filings (GST, PST, WSIB, EHT).
Location: Woodbridge, ON
Salary: $45000-$50000
