Reporting to the Senior Manager, Purchasing Financial Operations, this position is mainly responsible for analyzing and modeling pricing and margins for the Tim Hortons Supply Chain.
Qualifications:
Accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CA) or in the process of completion
Attention to detail is essential
Proven problem solving and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with management
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledgeable in the areas of process improvement and internal controls
Experience with ERP systems (SAP would be an asset) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Key Responsibilities:
Performs monthly in-depth review of product margins to ensure compliance with pricing strategy
Representative for Purchasing Operations on all new product introductions cross functional initiatives
Responsible for preparing pricing for all new materials within the guidelines of TDL pricing strategy and communicating to key stakeholders
Completes monthly inventory provision analysis, obtains appropriate approvals and relays information to Financial Reporting
Analyzes car lease expenses and activities to ensure vendors are correctly billing TDL
Key representative working with IT to develop, test and implement new reports and new processes for the Purchasing Financial Operations department
Assists in the development of annual budgets
Assists with other ad hoc projects as required
