z1277(Z1277)

新移民刚来一年半，之前在一家小公司做DATA ENTRY/BILLING CLERK做了9个月。国内经济系毕业，毕业后之后的工作经历与会计/财务基本无关。考虑到移民后的工作，所以在国内时就开始读CGA，现已经是PACE LEVEL。。。十分苦恼，因为会计经验基本没有。上份工六月中旬停了后，集中投简历近50份：得书面拒绝信3份；得RF和Accountemps电话约面试，题做的还算可以，第二天accountemps就来电话来但没接到可惜掉了一个机会；其他仅一个小公司admin/accounting assistant的职位打电话约时间面试（结果不知道怎样）。考虑过回BCIT拿本地文凭，但要两年，再说都已经读到pace了，年龄也大了，太浪费时间了。BC没有任何成人coop中心，所以走不通这条路。迷茫中。。。

坚持找肯定能找到，多找几家AGENT，有朋友在这行的也要联系一下，中国人开的FIRM作为跳板也不错。很多会计职位，尤其是低LEVEL都是介绍进来的。越低的职位，竞争越激烈。 -newhouse(梦中的苹果树); 2013-7-23 (#73286@41)

Summer is not a good season for job seeking. Don't worry, maybe there will be some interview and feedback in September. Entry level job is not easy to be found. I don't think you need to go to college just for a accounting certificate or diploma, don't waste time. Keep trying to get a job. You can start from a volunteer job, see if any accounting firm need a volunteer bookkeeper.
