Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual forecast, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow
Monitor trends in performance of business results and assist with forecasting improvements & methodologies
Create detailed and flexible reporting that enables business partners to fully understand key drivers of business results
Build financial models that consider multiple drivers and relay those drivers into accurate forecasts
Assist in sensitivity & financial impact analyses to monitor and evaluate the financial performance on proposed strategies & key business strategies
Qualifications:
2+ year’s experience in a generalist capacity within Finance
Strong knowledge of forecasting & analysis techniques, business analysis and planning methodologies
Experience in financial services is a definite asset
A proven track record in working collaboratively as a member of a team as well as the ability to work independently when required
An inquisitive nature that leads to seeking out and identifying trends and issues and solution recommendations
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with strong forecasting & reporting skills in excel. SAP skills an asset.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinker and ability to learn-respond quickly as demanded.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and interact cross-functionally and with all levels of management
