The truth is you won't see the difference between 1080i/1080p if the TV size is under 47'. CNET did a review of 42'-47' TVs of both resolution using PS3 as source and the editors could not tell which are 1080p.

Agree. I don't think it worth to spend many on 1080p with the size of only 37'

That's a good deal. This TV was called half 1080p because its native resolution is real 1080p but it cannot take real 1080p signal.
