Thanks lots! The problem is, in Ottawa, too many people on the way from Nortel and other bankrupcy IPO/Start-ups. Of course, spoken english is another reason. have the idea to move. But it looks like many so called IT experts jobless in Toronto too.

如你在TORONTO，我们不妨约一下，好好聊一下，我知道千里草就在TORONTO，也约上.查一下workopolis到是发现不少DSP engineer position, 正如你所说，除了communication 就是voice or imagine,可我在国内搞的是about Radar。中介到是挺热心，可聊完说将简历寄公司了，就再无下文。也不知道一般公司多久才会答复。其实我master专业就是信号与信息处理，那些算法并不难，只是没有hands-on的经验，再加之几年不用，生疏了。。ASIC设计挺热，我用VHDL，CPLD设计过一个DSP C6201总线接口逻辑，可离ASIC工程师似乎还有不少距离。

ASIC如果现在开始培训，用处似乎不大，EMPLOYER需要的是ASIC设计经验，仅一个培训学不了多少。如果在公司工作，到是值得一学。
