VCD is Mpeg1 compression, 320 x 480, SVCD is Mpeg2, 480 x 480(?), SVCD is much better. But hard to find SVCD movies.

DVD uses Mpeg2 as well, but the specification and Disc structure is difference.

EGG,画面跳动的问题我搞明白了,是选择逐行扫描和隔行扫描的问题.另外,你有做Super VCD的经验吗?MPEG-2的画面在电脑上放出来是挤扁的,在电视上会是宽银幕吗? 我做了一个,可是我的DVD不能放Super VCD,看不到.
