我觉得你这个问题很奇怪,按说用什么IP地址发并不重要,重要的是人家发给你们的Email能正确送到你们的Server上.所以我认为最重要的是到你们的DNS 服务器上修改相应的设置。

I am afraid you might lose Emails sent from Internet during your switching. You'd better consult some materials or Microsoft about that.

He can decrease the TTL in DNS' mx record to very low, say 5 minutes. But I don't think he'll lose mail because if the host is unreachable, usually the mail will be held for 1 week.

check your DNS MX record, and change the associated A record. however, due to dns caching issue, the change will take effects in 24-48 hours.

Your IMS(Internet Mail Service) will send all email to the server you point...Your IMS(Internet Mail Service) will send all email to the server you point, usually it is your DNS server. So you dont need to change IP address in Exchange server. Just modified the DNS server is OK. Any Exchange problems, feel free let me know. :)

Yello, turn this case to your related Unix & DNS admin or Tier-3 support team, they need to update the related MX & A records in DNS named daemon.
