没拿到job offer前去美国，千万不要说是去找工作或面试，因为加拿大公民没有权利以这种目的入境美国。拿到offer后，你才可以去海关办TN work permit.

Just personal exprience. couple of years ago, I was still holding Chinese passport and need to go to the US for a job interview.. told the truth and was no problem.The immigration officer at airport only asked me one question - what's the purpose for your trip? I told him I am going for a job interview. He didn't ask any more question and stamped my passport and let me go....
