工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / Can I modify java.lang.Object? It's said that Java is an open language. Where can I find the source of the java.lang.*? Which level is restrained? tks.

I don't think Java is an open language. Its development is subject to JDC.
By extending java.lang.Objects, we are modifying it everyday.

In fact, I'd like to add one instance variable including my logo to the Object so as to all my program would have the function. I don't know whether it make sense.
