I think you better to find error 2140 is what kind of error .Maybe it's not a memory fault.

256M, minimum. Really, minimum 256M, not recommend. You can know it from "hardware requirements.

I mean Websphere3.0 and 3.02. Other versions I 'm not sure.

Hi, Howru. I have noticed the memory required is minimum 256M. But what about virtual memory?Do you use websphere 3.02? If so can you do me a favour to test it in128M memory?Thanks a lot.

256M means real memory, you can't calculate virtual memory. Before Websphere access virtual memory, it'll use at least 200M real memory. No necessary to test. btw, my computer has 2sims each 256M. So i'm sorry I can't test for you.

For running Websphere, you need at least 256 MB.
