Solution: 在你的DNS里加一条DNS Forward, 把所有外部地址的解析都forward到sympatico的DNS上去。装了Linksys的router后，好久没这么做了，想了半天才想起来:-) -bluej(小J); 2002-4-15 (#459214@0)

why u can't ping?it is seemed not th DNS problem, but ur router. if u ping DNS, it is go with IP. but u can't ping to gateway. it is better change router setting up.by the way, what is ur toplogical of your network? u use DC as the proxy server ot router? -bjduck(北京烤鸭); 2002-4-16 {239} (#460760@0)
还一种可能就是你的网卡和拨号设备间的Ip forwarding没有激活。方法见内。你可以试一下。To enable IP forwarding

Open Registry Editor.
In Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ Services\Tcpip \Parameters

Select the following entry:
IPEnableRouter: REG_DWORD: 0x0

To enable IP forwarding for all network connections installed and used by this computer, assign a value of 1.

it's somekind tricky if you want dns server solve internal and external address same time.if it's small network, just creat host file for local network, it will be simple and fast, and forward external address to sympatico. -winger1234(ben); 2002-4-15 {134} (#459275@0)

微软从来不建议使用AD server作为你的网关。所以还是用你的普通server来建立你的ADSL连接算了。当然你要坚持强迫它这么做也是可以的，除非你保证以后容忍她的脾气。分别在你的2个机器上作：ipconfig /all，把结果贴出来。大家才可以帮你呀！ -elife(候鸟); 2002-4-17 {70} (#462887@0)
