工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / 安装oracle8.1.7碰到的问题, oracle 或maximo专家请进1。运行sql*plus,用system/manager和maximo连接数据库成功。但是不能打开*.sql文件。得到如下错误：SP2-0423: Illegal GET command
2。当应用一执行文件创建另一个数据库时，得到如下错误：
ora-12154：tns: could not resolve service name.
请大虾伸手相助。
此外，有谁熟悉maximo?

Check the DB in SQL*Plus, See if it's the correct DB
SELECT * FROM V$database.

I have no idea of maximo. But you can create a database only when you connect to a started instance with no mount dB in Oracle.I'm not sure if you only need to create a new user with a set of tables. (It's almost same as a DB in SQL Server). Are you living in Toronto or Missisuague? If you don't mind, please send me a mail with your phone number. It will be easier for us to discuss in details

1. did u set up $ORACLE_HOME properly?
2. do you have anything special in sqlnet.ora. say try use maximo.world as the service name
3. are u on NT or UNIX
