replyA MetroPass cost $88.50, so if you don't go out everyday, it's a little cheaper to buy tickets (or token), which is $1.7 each.
For driver's license, please refer to:
http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/ (I copy it from 相约加拿大 / 枫下黄页 / 政府机构 )
Bus always stops at crosscorner, some drivers only alert passengers before major intersections. You have to inform the driver everytime....as a chance of practising your oral English. :)
Enjoy your new life!

Enjoy!

if you got caught...it's not worthy to take such risk, and it's less than 1/3 of minimum hourly wage.

I think you guy misunderstand what kevin means. He wants to tell us there are some 地铁站有无人看守入口, you must use token or metropass. I have met this condition.

tokens and tickets are both available at any subway station, for same value. But many convenience stores or drug stores(Guardian) only provide tickets. Guardian even accepts credit card. I'd prefer ticket, because token looks like a dime=p
