VPN就是一个二次拔号，1次是拔ISP的号码，建立网络连接，2次拔的是IP，建立VPN连接。

多谢二位回答。我有公司VPN host地址，因为我装了公司helpdesk给的cisco 的VPN软件，好象没port number。我是否需在某个地方加上公司的domain name?

如果你用win98/win2000，应该不用另外的软件，可以象以前加一个拨号连接一样加一个VPN连接的呀，如楼上gwlc所说的，微软已经把这个加进操作系统了。

Do your company support XP?1, Make sure your company support XP.
2, Make sure the version of Cisco VPN work with XP.
3, Install Cisco VPN on your PC and set up your PC to NT domain mode.
4, Download the Certificate from your company's designate website.
5, Config the property of the Cisco vpn by using your company's VPN server ip(internet ip).
6, Connect to the VPN server from internet and enter your user name and password and make sure the domain name is right.

看安装说明，没提XP，有2k/98/me. 装好后可以进入公司内部网页，但问题是not support LAN，进不了公司里的其它机器，我可以加公司的domain进我家里的PC，但PC name不会被LAN identify啊？
