Does you SIM have GPRS account? Have you verified that your SIM has no any problem to access GPRS through a phone?

Don't 100% trust anybody in project. Verify GPRS account frist. 1) Put SIM on GSM phone to access GPRS, verify APN, ID/Passwd. 2) Connect the phone to PC, access GPRS from PC, verify Rogers'.....

actually, if I connect to GPRS network , I can access any web server, if I get its IP and port

My suggestion: try to connect your PC via GPRS to the remote server before you try POS. Because they usually give you a software called dashboard to help you setup and diagnose the connection.

good idea, but we didn't have the wirless card for PC. just one SIM card can use in cell phone and POS terminal
